This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our Service. By accessing or using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.
We collect information in the following categories:
Account Information: When you authenticate via GitHub OAuth, we receive your GitHub username, email address, profile avatar URL, and GitHub user ID. We do not receive or store your GitHub password.
User Content: Code, prompts, page configurations, and other materials you create, upload, or publish through the Service, including content published on pages you own.
Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, AI prompts submitted, time spent on pages, click patterns, and error logs.
Device and Technical Data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, screen resolution, and referring URLs.
Payment Information: If you purchase page ownership, our third-party payment processor, Paddle (paddle.com), collects your payment details. We do not store full credit card numbers or bank account information on our servers.
We use the information we collect to: (a) provide, operate, and maintain the Service; (b) authenticate your identity and manage your account; (c) process transactions and send related communications; (d) improve and personalize the Service, including AI model performance; (e) analyze usage trends and measure the effectiveness of features; (f) communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support matters; (g) detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity; and (h) comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
When you use AI features to generate code, your prompts and the resulting outputs may be processed by third-party AI providers. We may retain anonymized or aggregated prompt data to improve the quality of AI-generated code. We do not sell your individual prompts to third parties. Your prompt data and AI-generated outputs are not used for AI model training. We may retain anonymized or aggregated data solely to improve service quality.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with: (a) service providers who assist us in operating the Service (hosting, analytics, payment processing, AI providers), subject to confidentiality obligations; (b) other users, to the extent you make your profile or content publicly available, including pages you own; (c) law enforcement or government authorities when required by law, subpoena, or court order; (d) third parties in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets; and (e) any party with your explicit consent.
Your code and project data are stored using git-based storage infrastructure. Repository data, including commit history, branches, and file contents, is stored on servers located in the United States. We implement industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We retain your repository data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we will remove your data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze usage of the Service. For detailed information about the cookies we use and how to manage them, please refer to our Cookie Policy.
The Service integrates with third-party services, including GitHub (for authentication and code storage), AI model providers (for code generation), and payment processors (for transactions). These third parties have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: (a) access the personal information we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your personal information; (d) object to or restrict certain processing activities; (e) request data portability; and (f) withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@velinexis.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information.
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@velinexis.com.
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from the laws of your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption, access controls, regular security assessments, and employee training. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on the Service with a revised "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
